Makoto is one of the more sensible people in the group and can get a bit worn out from his friends' peculiar antics and mannerisms.[3][6] He is usually the one restraining Haruka from randomly stripping at the sight of water or diving into fish tanks.[3][7][6] His easy-going nature, combined with his self-discipline, makes him an excellent Captain for the Iwatobi High School Swim Club where he demonstrates responsible and steady leadership with a natural proclivity for building bonds between its members. Being the eldest in his family, he has long been responsible for assisting in the care of his young twin siblings, Ren Tachibana and Ran Tachibana, who adore him.

The initial design was improved frequently as its flaws became apparent during intensive training. Torpedo designations were given kai (modification) numbers when the weight of the warhead changed.[20] The Type 91 Kai 1 (Modification 1) design in 1936[21] or 1937[22] had a warhead of 471 lbs., of which 330[23] lbs. was the explosive charge. It could be dropped at 180 kt or faster. The Type 91 Mod 2 design in 1940[24] raised the warhead to 595 lbs., of which 450 lbs. was the explosive charge.[25] Each warhead change required substantial modification to the torpedo fuselage. The Japanese also made improvements between formal modifications. These changes did not change the kai number. This can lead to confusion.
The Tosa Inu has a very deep sense of loyalty for their master when raised correctly. Without proper socialization, training, and discipline, the Tosa Inu can easily grow up to be violent to other dogs and even people. They need an authoritative master to keep them in check. Despite their powerful stance and stern look, they are actually quite loving and affectionate.
Much note is made of Yamamoto's career and personal successes. These include his promotions at the Hasegawa service station, where he started as a Gas Jockey in the first tournament. He became Manager before the sixth and was announced as a District Manager at the 17th. His personal achievements include his marriage after the fifth tournament (which, strangely, was at the same date of his birthday) and the building of his home in Tokyo, complete with a SASUKE training course. He also love his dogs a lot, even went as far as naming one of it SASUKE back in SASUKE 11. As he switch career later on in his life, he is now currently a Training Gym Owner that he named Bariante, which he already owned since June 2015. 2ff7e9595c
