...Hello friends.. I have Xps l702x 17', came with bios A13. I wanted to know, if someone did already, about the bios update to A19. I mean, the update went...smooth...help him somehow?...any improvements? BTW problems in my system is just it is not stable....loosing the usb3 ports. Does anybody know what fixes there are in A19? And last: Do you know what motherboard our system has? and if you know, did you get any help from this I mean to find any special drivers or knowledges which help you? ..I really appreciate for your time.... Dell D830 A16 Bios With Slic 2.1
Now I am planning to update drivers and (maybe) to clean install W7. I am little "afraid" for what I'll face because it'll be the first time I'll do this procedure. Also (for to be honest), I read so many posts from people complaining for compatibility issues... and problems with drivers and bios and more...that I "got"... "paranoia"... Anyway....I made recovering disks and a W7 image so I'll give a try.
About the bios now. Please please...let me understand if you know a) why is good to follow this order you suggest? I mean A14, A16, A17..etc ? Is the first time I hear something like this. Also I read many posts that they destroy their systems with A14 version. Not compatibility in drivers and more.. Did they fix it? I know nothing about, I'm just asking. Also if I clean install W7, will I have to update bios before or after the installation? 2ff7e9595c
